Welcome to Porter College!

We thank you for all of your patience and understanding during Move-In Day and during Welcome Week. It has been a pleasure to have met all of you over the last two weeks.

As you can see, the construction project in B Building has taken a little longer than anticipated. Please note any maintenance concerns at fixit.ucsc.edu and we will have the contractors take a look at your concerns.

Our Thanksgiving Break will start on Thursday, November 26 and last until Sunday, November 29. Students may remain in residence during this time and do not need to submit a request to do so.

However, please keep in mind that the Dining Halls will close after lunch on Wednesday, November 25. They will re-open for dinner on Sunday, November 29
